Feds Feed Families Kick-Off! Join us for the much anticipated kick-off event on June 7th at 1:30 p.m. at the Capital Area Food Bank. Department and Agency leaders will pack and distribute brown bags of food and essentials to families and seniors who rely on contributions from the CAFB throughout the summer. This event requires leadership attendance, so make plans to attend -- and bring non-perishable items to start filling the shelves at the food bank!

The Office of Personnel Management will hold a public meeting on June 25, 2010, as part of its hiring reform initiative to hear and consider views on whether normal, competitive hiring is an effective avenue for bringing recent college graduates into the Federal workforce.

On July 27th, the Department of Energy will host a Feds Feed Families event featuring live music, food and games. Highlights of the event include senior DOE and OPM officials taking turns at the dunk tank. Come support the DOE and their food drive by bringing 10lbs of food in exchange for admission.
