Workforce Recruitment Program: Your Key to Hiring Student Interns and Employees with Disabilities

Director Berry will provide keynote remarks; Kareem Dale, Special Assistant to the President for Disability Policy will offer welcoming remarks and greetings from President Obama and the White House; and Pasquale "Pat" M. Tamburrino, Jr., Deputy Assistant Secretary for Civilian Personnel Policy and Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO), U.S. Department of Defense will also speak. The event is being hosted by USDA CHCO Billy Milton who also chairs the CHCO Council Disability Hiring workgroup.

Kareem Dale, Special Assistant to the President for Disability Policy, will offer welcoming remarks and greetings from President Obama and the White House Tuesday, February 7 at a special forum "Workforce Recruitment Program: Your Key to Hiring Student Interns and Employees with Disabilities."  The program runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Jefferson Auditorium, 1400 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, D.C. 
Mr. Dale joins keynote speaker, John Berry, Director, Office of Personnel Management and featured presenters, Kathy Martinez, Assistant Secretary for Disability Employment Policy, U.S. Department of Labor and Pasquale "Pat" M. Tamburrino, Jr., Deputy Assistant Secretary for Civilian Personnel Policy, U.S. Department of Defense.

To accommodate those attending the event, USDA will open two entrances. The accessible entrance is located across from the Smithsonian Metro Station at 12th Street and Independence Avenue, SW.  Entrance 5 is located at 14th Street and Independence Ave, SW, and is the closest entrance to the Jefferson Auditorium.
