Cancellation of Occupational Series

On November 21, 2016, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) proposed to cancel 37 occupational series with approximately 25 or fewer Federal employees reported to OPM's Enterprise Human Resources Integration (EHRI) Data Warehouse (see: https://www.chcoc.gov/content/proposal-cancel-occupational-series). Agencies were asked to provide comments on the proposed cancellations. Based on the comments received, we are cancelling 21 occupations listed below.

Reclassification actions must be completed within 12 months of the date of this memorandum. These series will be dropped from the pay tables on March 1, 2018. Agencies should reclassify impacted positions as instructed below. Official titles may be constructed in accordance with the Introduction to the Position Classification Standardsand the Introduction to the Federal Wage System Job Grading System.
