In September 2009, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) proposed to cancel 37 occupational series with approximately 25 or less Federal employees. Agencies were asked to provide comments on the proposed cancellations. Based on the comments received, we are canceling the occupations below.
Reclassification actions must be completed with 12 months of the date of this letter. The series/job will be dropped from the pay tables by February 1, 2011. Agencies should reclassify impacted positions to the “01” series/job code for the appropriate job family. Official titles may be constructed in accordance with the Introduction to the Federal Wage System Job Grading System.
