MEMORANDUM FOR:

From:
Norman Enger, Program Director for E-government Initiatives
Subject:
OPM E-Government Initiative Recruitment One-Stop Update

OPM has decided to move forward with the USAJOBS Recruitment One-Stop (ROS) project currently being designed and implemented by Monster Government Solutions (MSG).

The new system will go live Monday morning, August 4, 2003. We will begin migration activities on Friday, 1 August, during which some of the USAJOBS system functions will be down and nonfunctioning, including job entry. Notifications will be posted on the website.

My staff has training scheduled for users on July 31st and Aug 1st. Notification of this training opportunity will be distributed this week. We hope that your staff will be able to attend. The training sessions will have conference call capability so field staff can also be included. In addition, the new website has extensive online tutorials for job entry and other services your staff will be using.

Thank you for your ongoing support and interest in the ROS initiative. The new website will be an excellent enhancement in our efforts to recruit top talent into the Federal workforce.

Claire Gibbons on my staff is the program manager for the ROS initiative. If you need further information, she can be reached at 202/606-1192; cxgibbon@opm.gov.
