National Multicultural Job Expo 2001

The 12th National Multicultural Job Expo is being held April 5 and 6 on the campus of Southwest Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas. This is the largest multicultural Expo recruitment fair in the country. Last year's fair was attended by over 2,000 students from 70 different universities and 239 companies, school districts and government agencies participated. Similar participation is expected at this year's Expo.

We invite you to take advantage of our exhibition booth to distribute your agency's recruiting materials or join us in staffing the booth during the Expo. If you're interested in attending, detailed information about the Expo is available by contacting Josei Garrott, Career Services, Southwest Texas State University by phone at 512-245-2645 or on the internet at www.careerservices.swt.edu.

We will be exhibiting USAJOBS, the Federal Government's Employment Information System, at the Expo showcasing how USAJOBS offers job seekers worldwide job listings, resume and electronic application services, and email notification of jobs meeting applicants' profiles.

Miguel Hernandez, Director of our San Antonio Service Center, is our Expo coordinator. You can reach Miguel by phone at 210-805-2423 X502 or by email at mxhernan@opm.gov. Please route your recruiting materials for display directly to Miguel at the following address:
