Dear Members of the CHCO Council,

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to share some insights regarding hiring Veterans at the last CHCO meeting.  As a follow-up to the presentation, we would like to invite you to a workshop on March 26 that will cover many of the “HR Best Practices for Hiring Veterans” in further detail.  The program should be of particular interest to both CHCOs and Hiring Managers.  At this workshop, you will learn tools, processes, information and best practices that will be very helpful for achieving greater hiring and retention of Veterans.

The presenter, Ms. Lisa Rosser, is a former Lieutenant Colonel (O-5) in the Army Reserve and a seasoned HR executive from the private sector whose area of expertise is helping organizations to increase their hiring of Veterans.  More information on Lisa Rosser is attached below.

The workshop will take place on March 26th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 pm at the Department of Labor.
