League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) National Federal Training Conference and Convention

The League of United Latin Americans Citizens (LULAC) Federal Training Institute will hold its annual training at the 2001 LULAC National Conference from June 3 through June 9, 2001, in Phoenix, Arizona. The theme for this year's conference is "Reaching New Frontiers: Expanding the Latino Agenda."

The Federal Training Institute of LULAC, Inc. (FTI) is an educational and training nonprofit organization. For the past 11 years the FTI has provided training at the national level to promote greater career advancement for Hispanics. This year's workshops promise to be of significant interest to managers and employees in all sectors of the Federal Government. Topics such as "Leveraging Diversity-Leading Change," "The Mentoring Process," and "The New Technology Era" are just a few of the subjects to be discussed by recognized experts.

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management supports LULAC's efforts and considers this conference a viable training tool for Federal managers and employees. We encourage your participation at this conference. For more information about the FTI, contact the LULAC Washington Office at (202) 833-6130 or visit the LULAC web site at: www.LULAC.org.
