Federal Employees with Disabilities & FEDQ 1st Annual Conference

The Federal Employees with Disabilities (FEDS) & FEDQ, a National Affinity Group for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) employees in the Federal Government, will hold their 1st Annual Conference on September 9, 2013. One of the main goals of the conference is to better prepare human resources professionals, equal employment opportunity specialists, diversity professionals, and others throughout the government to effectively work with and interact with individuals with disabilities and members of the LGBT community. The theme for this conference is “Pathways to Inclusion.”

This conference qualifies as training in compliance with 5 U.S.C. chapter 41, and is open to all Federal employees. The training will include workshops in a variety of areas including reasonable accommodation, Schedule A Hiring Authority, professional development, and diversity & inclusion.

The FEDS & FEDQ 1st Annual Conference is in partnership with the National Image, Inc. 41st Annual National Training Program.
