Federal Asian Pacific American Council 17th Annual Conference

Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) will hold its 17th Annual Congressional Seminar and National Leadership Training Conference in Washington, DC, on May 20-23, 2002.

FAPAC is an inter-agency organization of Asian Pacific American Employees representing over 100 Federal agencies and the District of Columbia government. FAPAC was organized in 1985 to serve as a conduit through which issues of common concern are addressed. FAPAC promotes equal opportunity and cultural diversity for Asian Pacific Americans within the Federal government. FAPAC is the principal organization responsible for planning and organizing program activities which highlight the contributions and achievements of Asian Pacific Americans in the public sector.

This year's programs and workshops will feature legislative issues affecting your future, career development, civil rights, glass ceiling, diversity, retirement and investment issues in the federal government.

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management supports FAPAC's efforts and encourages agency participation at this conference. For additional information, please contact Pankaj Parikh, at (312) 886-6707 or Charles Fan, at (202) 645-0750, or visit FAPAC web site at:
