From:
BETH F. COBERT, ACTING DIRECTOR
Subject:
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions Regarding the Executive Order to Strengthen the Senior Executive Service

In accordance with the Executive Order 13714, Strengthening the Senior Executive Service (SES), signed on December 15, 2015, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management is providing answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) that address the specific provisions within the Executive Order.

I encourage you to disseminate these FAQs broadly within your agency to help answer the questions that managers, Human Resources staff, and SES/SL/ST/SES equivalent members may have about implementing the provisions within your agency.  These FAQs are intended to supplement the specific guidance that OPM has already issued, or will be issuing in the coming months, on specific elements of the Executive Order.

If you have questions about this guidance or require any assistance, please contact Ms. Jessica Powers at jessica.powers@opm.gov or at (202) 606-1633.
