Anne Audet has served as the Director, Departmental Office of Human Resource Management since September 2021 and is responsible for providing leadership and executive oversight on a wide range of Departmental human resource management programs, including human capital planning, policy and oversight, work life programs, human resource systems, and providing operational human resource services for the Office of the Secretary. Prior to this position, she served as the Deputy Director since 2017.

Before joining the Departmental office, Anne served as the Director, Office of Human Resources (HR), a Senior Executive Service (SES) level position in the Federal Highway Administration. As Director, she provided strategic direction to over 80 HR professionals in providing human resources consultation and advisory services to the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) Headquarters and field organizations. Anne joined the Department of Transportation in 1990 as a Personnel Management Specialist under a Departmental internship program. She has a BA degree in Industrial Relations and Psychology from the University of North Carolina.
